Over time concrete driveways and walkways become filthy from dirt and airborne pollutants. This transformation from clean to dirty is so gradual that it usually goes unnoticed. And if your driveway or walkway is in the shade most of the time it could have algae or mold growing on the surface making them slippery.

When cleaning buildings I use a low pressure system around doors, windows and eves to avoid damaging them.
A unique problem when cleaning stucco is "Dirt Dauber" nests. The rough surface of the stucco provides an excellent building base for dirt dauber nests. The nests are made from mud (red clay generally) and while the nest themselves are easy to remove, the stain left by the mud is not. Even a good hand scrubbing will not completely remove the stain. About the only thing you can do to hide the stain is to paint over it.
